Honesty note: browser mining is for fun, learning and supporting the network — per-browser earnings are small and depend on pool luck. Don't expect income; expect to watch your GPU do real proof-of-work.
Fees: you keep ~96% of what your work earns — the pool takes 1.5%, the bridge 2.5% (funds payouts, referrals & hosting). No web miner has ever charged less. Shares are spot-checked against the pool's own validator; fabricated shares forfeit all credit.
Background mining — keeps running at full speed when minimized or in another tab (a background worker paces it). On phones we keep the screen awake while mining so it won't auto-lock; if you manually lock the screen, mining pauses until you wake it.
Algorithm: the BTX MatMul kernel, run on your GPU via WebGPU. Your worker ID + addresses stay in this browser's local storage.
Backend: Byron pool bridge · strong mode builds the coinbase locally when supported, so the server never sees your address.
